HARVEY H. LOWREY This school is named for Mr. Harvey H. Lowrey. We were saddened by his death on January 2, 1961. Mr. Lowrey was present for the twenty-fifth anniversary assembly of the school in 1953. He accepted an important role in Dearborn in his fifty years of educational work. Devotion and accomplishments to his many assignments made significant far sighted contributions to Dearborn education. The plaque which is in the main hall is inscribed with his belief in young people. BOYS AND GIRLS OUR HOPE OF TOMORROW. MR. MERWIN LEWIS PRINCIPAL Our congratulations to Mr. Merwin Lewis in the new position. Area Superintendent. We welcome to Lowrey School our new principal, MR. JOHN ROMANOW Section.
