fi We, the class of l952, being in charge of publishing the llth an- nual QQ have strived very hard to make it as interesting as possible. we have chosen the theme of this edition to date back to the Gay 9O's bringing to you the change in costumes and ways of our ancestors. Also this -QQ.. is to leave behind us a written record of what we accomplished at Washburn Township High School.

Mr. George Brummet's life was one of devotion to family, to friends, and to the teaching profession. Our school could not have had a more tireless and sympathetic worker. He possessed those human qual- ities so outstanding and so much needed in the school room. Qualities that endeared him to the student bodyg never too busy to talk over problems, always interested in student activities, willing to lend a helping hand. Mr. Brummet was a friend, a teacher, and a genuine human being. We shall all be better for his having lived and worked among us. To Mr. Brummet, in recognition of his untiring efforts in per- forming his many duties, who always had a cheerful greeting and smile for everyone, we, the students and faculty of Washburn Township High School, dedicate this Quill.
