I got off the plane and walked from the airport downtown. There I heard that Glenn Clark's Construction C. had secured the contract for building the sister to the Houlder Dam, the nBolderetta,n out in Colorado. I walked up the street towards H. T. H. S. and as I was about to cross the street a Ford pickup flew past. The name on the door read: James B. White, Dealer in Angus Cattle and Cats. The cat business must have proved a thriving enterprise for Jim. Fbllowing it was a Cadillac convertible, and I recognized the driver as Mrs. E. Thierer. I guess Barbara proved that early marriages can stick, As I entered the portals of the new high school building and gazed around I saw the picture of the famous Class of '48. I slowly trudged down the hall toward the principal's office, just like I used to do. I stared in the door and found John McNutt seated behind the desk, formerly filled by Mr Nerhster John recognized me right avay After a friendly chat I learned that lwood Laible was still raisin Spotted poland Chinas and was now Dresldent of the school board told John I must hurry and get back to the office at the Supreme Ihiry because I had a few business men coming to state the prices on factori s located in California, the only state in which th re is not a eupreme Dairy located Elmer Nuske Class of 1948 Cflau.a.,,..1:,2eT n a bright sunny dar in the fall of 1944 twenty seven Freshies gaily entered the doors of 1 S for the very first time Our class Ldvisor was 'r ihaus n The president of the class was Dick Flick, vice president, Ihle Wrummet secretary treasuer, Glenn Clark Dick and Doris Lacir yo ned us dur 5 the vear The Sonhono e ear brox nt to, th r tw nty seJen students Ramona Ruduer, Charles Kalb, ard ,ron Alton v re no lonver vith us but Charles Brown Robert erdrickson and lmer uske Joined us money making projects for the Junlor Senior Prom consisted of pop sales at noon through out tre y ar and a foods stand at the annual Woodford Coun y track mee D'cv 'lick s rved again as pr sident, Glenn Clark as vice p evident, Roh rt Iendrickson as ser etary treasurer Class advisor las r Price The Junior vtar was the busl st vear of oar high school career.
