Vikings come in many different shapes and sizes with different thoughts and ideas. Far Lower Left — Salina Layton shows that Vikings are spirited. Far Upper Left — Reaching the highest potential is characteristic of a Viking as shown by Ronnie Shackleford. Lower Left — Gloria Roberts stands tall and proud in her Viking-Plowboy attire Lower Center — The profile of a Viking becomes a stern, solemn gaze as Tim Martin achieves the fifties look. Lower Right — Characteristic of all Vikings is the ability to be a leader as is true with Joy McClellan. Left — The Mightiest of all Vikings, Carlton Adams represents honesty and integrity. Profile of a Viking To be a Viking is to be CARING, EXPRESSING. WORKING, GROWING, STRIVING, and FULFILLING We, as the Vikings of the past, have all these traits. To be Lowndes High Vikings, we have to be special people with distinct traits. We all have these traits, but we are individuals as well. We do what we do in a way that no one else can We are tight. Real tight. That makes us strong. There has never been a mountain too high to climb or a sea too wide to navigate for a Viking. We are proof of this strength today Together, there is nothing we cannot seek, nothing we cannot accomplish. We, like the ancient Vikings, will not be stopped short of our goals. 2

Caring for One Another As the Vikings of yesterday, we care for one another with love and devotion. Every phase of life requires a closeness between us. This closeness can be achieved by caring for each other in a way that only a Viking can truly understand. Vikings know that through our love for each other, great things can be achieved. By working together we become close; closeness allows us to grow together. The double bond of growth and closeness makes an invincible Viking. We are strong because we care for one another. We will forever be close.
