Expression makes up a large part of a Viking's personality. Far Lower Left — The Lowndes High Administration is number one when it comes to supporting their teams. Far Upper Left — Expression and excitement are one and the same for a Viking. Extreme Lower Left — An expression of poise is seen as Becky Griffin and Vicky George perform at halftime. Lower Right — Lisa Thomas expresses great pride at being a Viking-Plowboy. Lower Left — Originality, even in dress, is a Viking quality as shown by Brenda Roffe. Below — A Viking has confidence and Joy McClellan and Craig White have no trouble showing it. Left— Patriotic and loyal. Sarah Long shows respect for Lowndes High. 7

Expressing Ourselves A Viking expresses himself and his moods in many ways. Vikings of the past were brave warriors, yet they were artistic craftsmen. Like our mighty predecessors, we do not live just to exist. We have a purpose. Expressing ourselves and our lifestyles is a part of this purpose There is no such thing as a demure Viking because we are rowdy but considerate We are intellectual but modest When we win, we win with style, and when we lose, we lose with dignity. There is no other way for a Viking. He must be realistic but at the same time imaginative. Yes. we express ourselves but only in the most upstanding way because all Viking incentives are honorable. 6

Working Together In days of old and new, Vikings are unique because of their togetherness. By working together, Vikings have accomplished many tasks and conquered many foes. Vikings work well together because we are unified. As one. we win, accomplish, succeed, and prosper With our unity we have impressed many opponents. Through team work Lowndes High has become powerful. Our legendary strength exists because we are Vikings working together. As a mighty team, we will always pull together in triumph.
