SARA KATHRYNE ATTICK HSAIREH '1Stop ir, Bill Home Economics Club: Nature Club Sara is the Hold reliable of the class of '38. She is our quietest member. Her willing heart and ready hands accomplish many hard tasks, Success to you, Saire. CHARLES EDWARD BRIGHTBILL HCHARLIEH Is that so? F. F. A.: Glee Club: Operetta Quiet and unassuming, but don't let that fool you. Charlie has made much progress since he started school. One of his best subjects is junior girls. HCharlie's ambition is to be a good farmer and in this Held he will surely succeed. ROLLIN SAMUEL BRIGHTBILL HTIDDLEH Aw, Shucksf' F. F. A.: Glee Club At first appearance one might consider Rollin shy and meek, but a closer observation reveals an insatiable love for talking and performing mischievous pranks: and, might we say, for a certain fair maiden? FLORENCE CARPENTER PLO What did you say? Class President: Glee Club: Home Eco- nomics Club: Ranger Staff: Play Elo is the lady with the long hair and lovely long eyelashes. It's no wonder the boys like her, 'AFlo is not certain what she will do but we think that she'll probably end by keep- ing house in a little rose covered bungalow. T131

HAROLD CASSEL t'JoNNEE Holy Hum! F. F. A.: Football: Football Manager: Basketball Manager: Glee Club To Jonnee we owe a great deal. Al- though working in an unobtrusive fashion, HJonnee deserves much of the credit for the success of our various class functions. We sin- cerely hope his Plymouth may carry him down the wide highway to success. VIOLA MAE CASSEL TOOTS Oh, this chemistry! Swatara High School: Glee Club: Operetta Here's a girl whose interest lies in the Science field. Viola has a smile for everyone, but her smiles are brighest when a certain senior is around. Missionary or housewife, we wish her success. JOHN W. COBLE HJOHNNIEH Glee Club: Operetta Quiet and dependable describes John the best. John was only with us one year but during that time he was one of our most active members. We think John will be a successful business man in the years to come. WALTER EUGENE DRAWBAUGH GENE Why was I born? Football: Ranger Staff: Class Plays: Safety Patrol: Torch Staff: Band: Tumbling Team: Class President Our president! He has guided well our ship of state over turbulent waters this year, and we know he will bring us to a safe harbor. lf Gene is as useful to the world as he has been to the class of '38, he will be a notable per- sonage. l14l
