Women drivers and highway patrolmen We wish Walt a happy and successful future 1 WILLIAM ANGLEMOYER Academic Huntingdon Valley Bill s good natured grm and pleasant personality have made him one of our most popular members Has willing participation in a variety of school activities has also made htm one of our most valuable ones These are a few varsity football basketball and baseball Lion s Roar and Elmleo staffs class treasurer and Chorus Bill s next step will be college and we are sure that he will continue to do well there and enjoy the popularity he has enyoyed at L M MARGARET M BAILEY Cornnnercral Oaklord Peggy who loaned us in her sophomore year from jones junior High School was always a capable volunteer for any or all class activities We have greatly appreciated her cheerful willingness to assist in both class and general school matters As head of the typing department on the Elmleo staff she was very efficient and was an active member of the Chorus and Knlttmg Cluh and was selected Maid of Honor to the May Day Queen Peggy looks forward to office worlt after graduation We can be sure of her success 5 WILLIAM BARRY BARTH Academic Feasterullle Barry s raised eyebrow was usually a signal for one of his witty remarks and some subtle humor This wlt and humor we always enjoyed when Barry put on one of has shows or when we chuckled over one of his compositions, stones or Lion s Roar feature articles Barry was acuve in other ways ae well He was a member of the Gym Club and football squad ln his senior year jeepsters too add spice to the life of Barth We predict an mterestmg future for this talented classmate VIRGINIA BELL Commercial Rockledge Ginny has been with us since the fourth grade, with the exception of her junior year, and has at all times been a lot of fun and a wonderful friend. She likes roller skating, but her special interest is dancing. For her clubs, she chose Typing, Shop and Att. We know Ginny will succeed in whatever she does after graduation, and we will long remember her familiar Hi around L. M.'a corridors. Y. DONALD BILLGER General Peasteruille Don s one of the redheads in our class and a swell fellow to know He played one year of varsity baseball his clubs consisted of Hobby, Home Economics and Boxing Don has been kept busy with after school jobs which is probably one reason he dislikes that early ring of his alarm clock Continuing with one of his present jobs or getting another good one is all he ll tell us of his future plans BARBARA BLAIR Academic Rockledge Babs is a quiet studrous member of our class She belonged to Tri Ht Y and was head of the prayer committee in Bible Club Her interest centers in church work, but her hobbies include roller skating, sewing, and reading Babs didn t ,OID our class until 1952 when she entered from Harding junior High but we are glad she did join us and we know she will do well in her college work DOROTHY ANNA BLAKER General Treuose Height Dot s lovely colonng and sweet manner are an unbeatable combination With Dot s artistic ability, it is no wonder that her hobby is art People who have no school spmt annoy this loyal lady Her favorite expression? That's for sure' ' Even though Dot s occupation to be is not yet settled, we wish her well in it and in the happy times that are ahead TRW U RUTH MAE BURROWS Colnerciul Rockledge Burr was a very helpful member of our class, always willing to work for our many causes . She was a member of the Elmleo staff, Chorus, and Knitting Club. She enjoys dancing and traveling, having art craft and photography as her special hobbies. lt is difficult to name all the interests of this vivacious classmateof ours. She is an exceptional seamstress, is the only girl in the class to own her own car, and she now hopes to be an airline stewardess.
