EVELYN KULP Commercial Langhorne Ebby was always on hand when there was volleyball, a basketball game, or a swimming party. For quiet recreation Ehby preferred reading - and making plans for her home-to-be. Ebby's friends - and there are many of them - hope for nothing but happiness in her future. ARNOLD H. KREBS Academic Huntingdon Valley Arnold is a true Lower Morelandite, having begun his schooling in our own first grade. It was there, too, that he began the practice of ranking high in his class. Keeping on top scholastically didn't curb other activities because Arnold held the Presidency of Student Council, managed the basketball team, and was a member of the Chorus, band and orchestra. His interest in chemistry will be the foundation or starting point for his career. RUDOLPH F. KUBE General Feasterville With Rudy's quiet jokes and wit, his friends have few dull moments - and with all of Rudy's scientific interests, he has few idle moments. Television, radio, and model planes occupy this Rudy Kazooti of ours. Science and Art Clubs enjoyed his membership but Rudy never learned to enjoy algebra or English, he claims. Rudy is heading for the study of electronics in the Navy. DOLORES J. LACHOWSKI Commercial Rockledge Dolly, cute and likeable, came to us from Frankford High in her junior year. Since then she has been busy with class teams, cheerleading and Safety Clubs, and feature writing for the Lion's Roar. As a stenographer, Dolly will be a definite asset to any firm. Her future employers will appreciate her intelligence and winning ways as we have here at L.M.

BERNARD KEMMERLING Academic Feastefville Bernie has been our very active 'Mr. Photographer' for both the year- book and local papers, trying to get into his many shots some of the highlights of L.M.'s activities. Bernie has also been an active class member, serving well on those inevitable committees, and headed the Safety Patrol this year. Although math and science are Bernie's favorite subjects, he plans to make photography his vocation. K' C A I L K E R R Commercial Rockledge Gail is just about the smallest one in our class, but only in size - definitely not in ability. In her part-time work at Sears, Gail has proved herself a capable, efficient worker. In school, through her work in Safety, Lion's Roar, Arts and Crafts, and yearbook typing she proved her ability again and again.. Gail, with her many interests, will be concentrating on just one upon graduation - being a good private secretary. MARIANNE LENA KOOKE Academic Langhorne Kookie likes people - and they return the compliment. That's easy with Kookie's pleasing personality and warm smile. Hockey and basketball were her varsity sport interests and all the intramurals attracted her. She was a member of Chorus, Spanish and Art clubs and enjoyed photography as a hobby. After graduation Kookie hopes to do some traveling. NITA MARIA KRAUS A C ommercial Feasterville Anita joined us in our junior year when she came from Abraham Lincoln High. We welcomed her as an enthusiastic classmate who promptly became an active one, especially in Lion's Roar work and later in yearbook photography. Our class volleyball team claimed Anita as a member, also. Domestic life, rather than a business career, seems to appeal to Anita. In either, we vouch for a good job well done.

HERBERT LANGE Academic Rockledge Herb was the envy of many, chiefly because of his neat, handsome appearance and his way with the fair sex, but his talents and interests weren't limited to things sociable. Herb belonged to the Lion's Roar, Chorus, Hi-Y Club, yearbook business staff, and played intramurals. Farming and Fords are Herb's other interests. We're wondering where they will fit into the Navy career Herb is planning. SARAH MAY LAPIHUSKA Academic R ockledge Sally kept busy in many important ways - as a member of the varsity basketball team, art staff of the yearbook, and typist for the Lion's Roar. Class sports and Art Club were a few of her other school activities plus the duties her academic schedule involved. If you ever are hospitalized, we hope you'll be lucky enough to have Sally as your nurse. KARL D. LIEBOLD General Bethayres Karl is another member of our class whose interest is in the U.S. Navy, and if the Navy appreciates Karl as we do, the interest will be mutual. His chief interest was in the Science Club, but baseball and basketball also claimed him as a squad member. We hope for a happy future for this tall, blonde, pleasant classmate of ours. EDWARD LISS, JR. Academic Rockledge Ed's variety of talents brought him into many phases of school life and work. Varsity football C3l, basketball CD, and class sports gave him a chance to prove his athletic ability, while his artistic talents were put to good use in his work as art editor of the yearbook. He was vice- president of Hunting and Fishing and a member of Hi-Y. The girls especially will remember 'Junie s' smooth dancing. With Ed's dis- position, we rather expect the future sailing to be smooth, too.
