GERTRUDE BERNREUTHER Academic R ockledge If Cert isn't laughing, then that isn't our Cert, for it is her happy disposition that has made her one of our best liked classmates. Typing and Glee clubs kept her busy but not so much so that she couldn't enjoy her hobbies - dancing, soccer games, good sax music, and traveling. We hope Cert's plans to be an elementary school teacher materialize for the lucky children who will have her as a teacher. DAVID BENSON Academic Huntingdon Valley Dave has two loves - tall stories and cars, but if he ever had to choose between them, we know that cars would be the choice, first, last, and always. Ever since Dave came to us in his sophomore year from Germantown High, he has been one of our 'hot-rod fans and one of our most easy-going and friendly classmates. With Dave's ability and experience we think his preference for auto mechanics is a good selection for his future work. MARIE BRANTIS Commercial Feasterville Marie is one of our petite, blonde members with a pleasing way that made her one of our more popular members as well. Marie's club choices included Cheerleading, Nurses Aid, and Clee, while dancing is tops on her out-of-school social calendar. Like so many of us, Marie is still undecided about her after-graduation plans but again, like so many of us, she hopes for the best. PAULINE JEAN BUBE C l'lmel'ClBl Hgckledge This peppy, fun-loving classmate of ours will be remembered for many things, but most of all for that spring in her toes and the sparkle in her eyes. Varsity basketball 123, cheerleading C25 and all class sports, in addition to swimming and her interest in Tri-lli-Y, kept. her active and on l...M.'s 'valuable student' list. We know that Pauline will take her fine sense of humor and gocd spirit all along the way. ,p

ANNA MAE ALLMON Commercial Huntingdon Valley Anne Mae has a special perky way that is all her own - and we like it. We also have liked the. way in which she entered into a variety of school activities - varsity hockey, intramurals, the Glee club and Choir, Safety Club and Lion's Roar. Anna Mae played an important part in all of these and still kept her cheerful disposition and friendly smile. Don't lose either of those valuable assets, Anna Mae! LORRAINE E. APPEL Commercial Feasterville Rainey's skill at dancing brought her much of the fun and the good times she so thoroughly enjoyed. Her popularity did the rest. For sports, Rainey found varsity hockey and basketball much to her liking. For her other activities, she preferred Safety and Cheerleading clubs and literary work on Lion's Roar and Elmleo. Here's to a happy life, Rainey! MILDRED AVENDER Commercial Rockledge To say that she is petite and neat, short and sweet, would well describe Millie. Typing was one of Millie's special interests and the yearbook staff was wise in selecting her to head that important department. Glee Club, too, enjoyed Millie's membership for three years - and all of us enjoyed her happy smile and manner. With so many good qualities, we know Millie is headed for success. KATHLEEN BELL Commercial Feasterville Many good and worth while things all rolled up into one - that's Kathy, a loyal classmate and a truly versatile person. Cheerleading captain, Clee club soprano soloist, class secretary, literary staff member of the Elmleo, and varsity basketball are just a 'taste of Kathy's many activities. We not only liked what Kathy did but the way she did things. Her personality and talent should take her far.

WILLIAM G. COOPER ACBdBIl1iC Fessterville Although school was not to his liking 'Little Coop' kept himself and his appreciative friends in high good humor by his stunts and sly jokes. We'll remember with pleasure Bill's unique sense of humor. Sports also helped brighten Bill's school life and he put his heart into his playing. Varsity football and all intramurals were his. We wish the best for this little fellow with the generous gin. X.: THOMAS ASTLEY COOPER Academic Huntingdon Valley Astley made many valuable contributions to his class and school throughout high school. Putting them in a list is our only way of getting everything in - and an imposing list it is: high scholastic honors, pianist for chorus and orchestra, band member, literary staff of Elmleo, business editor of Lion's Roar, vice-president of the senior class, and an active participant in forums and debates. Only time will tell whether Astley's profession will he law or medicine. Regardless of his choice, we can count on his doing a fine job. JULIANN MARION CRIDER Academic Neshaminy Falls Although .I.C. never seemed to be in a hurry, she accomplished a great deal. As class secretary for three years, feature writer for Lion's Roar, art staff member of Elmleo, plus membership in Cheerleading, Clee, and Safety Clubs, she proved she wasn't idle, but definitely a capable worker. In ,I.C.'s chosen profession, nursing, we're sure she will continue to prove her worth. lbw.-I V ANITA JUNE DANENBERGER Commercial Huntingdon Valley ,Iune had the unique honor of guarding the class money for six years and keeping the books accurately balanced. In Glee Club, as a Student Council officer, and a member of varsity hockey and basketball, June further served her school in her own generous, sincere way. When ,Iune's plans to complete business school materialize, we envy the fortunate firm that adds June to its payroll.
