He was president of the Hi-Y Club, co-business manager of the Elmleo, and a Lion's Roar member for two years. Easy to get along with Harry, But in English he's determined not to tarry. Harry usually has an answer if not the answer to most questions, but he's never been able to find a satisfactory answer to the query, Why study English? However, that doesn't keep Harry from enjoying life, joking with the best of them, and with good nature, generally taking things as they come. joan's an artist, that is so, And also a very good friend to know. With all this plus painting and clothes designing as hobbies, busy joan always found time to be sociable and enjoy her many friends. After graduation, joan hopes to study costume design. Bobo is a good-natured, friendly, easy-going fellow who played two years of varsity basketball and baseball besides participating in all class sports. Tony's idea of heaven features pretty girls and plenty of fires for the H. V. volun- teers. 'I'ony's real interest for the future is to start a florist business of his own. ISABELLA GRAVES Commercial Trevose, Pa. A pleasant miss is this quiet gal. . . She really is a very fine pal. Isabel, our cute class blusher, enjoyed class sports and always gave us a good laugh in gym class. Is believes that dancing and eating spaghetti are her favorite pastimes. We have found that competition is what she does not like. Could there be any connection between that and her special interest in a certain red head? FRANK HAEGLE Academic Rockledge, Pa. We grant, although he had much wit, He was very shy in using it. Photography, woodwork, and adding to his collection of basketball clippings kept Frank occupied outside of school time. In school activities, his chief interests were Science Club and intramural sports. In his quiet way, Frank enjoyed all those things that make up our school days. sa? MABLE AMANDA HENRY Academic Bryn Athyn, Pa. A happy disposition, a great big smile, She is our idea of someone worthwhile. Mable, good natured and witty, can be serious when and if necessary. Basketball was her sport, playing guard three years on the varsity and captain in the senior year. She was also the capable president of the Safety Patrol. Mable likes concert music and beautiful homes. After graduation she wants to become a bi-lingual secretary, and if we know Mable, she'll be a good one.

VERNA JUNE LEEDOM Commercial Bethayres, Pa. Vivacious Verna full of fun. . . Her presence is enjoyed by everyone. Verna always seemed to be able to find time for just one more activity. Glee Club, Safety Patrol, serving on class committees, assisting with class plays, typing for the Lion's Roar, being on the Elmleo staff kept Vema busy when she wasn't leading cheers or dashing down the hockey field to tally a goal for the team. DONALD LEHUQUET Academic Oakford, Pa. Since Don possesses a two-track mind, Answers for him are easy to find. joe is one of those easy-going, good-natured fellows with an even disposition. Glee, Hi-Y and Safety Club were joe's chief interests... Although traveling is his hobby and sleeping is his major interest, joe played on the varsity baseball team for two years and basketball during his senior year. ALFRED PAUL LIEBOLD, JR. General Huntingdon Valley, Pa. Liz with his cute little curls Likes to be where there are girls. Liz can check off three years of varsity basketball and baseball to his credit plus football in his senior year. We can check off even more to Liz's credit-his flair for art, his participation in Glee Club and his unexpected comments. With his easy, likeable ways, Liz will never want for friends. RICHARD GR IFFITH MENGEL General Rockledge, Pa. Always has a bright smile That makes everyday worth while. Rich's participation in varsity basketball, football, and baseball should be good experience for the fulfillment of his ambition-to be coach of athletics. His interests weren't limited to sports, however, since he was a member of the Senior play cast, Glee Club, Student Council, and Hi-Y. Classical music, too, is among Rich's likes, but homework was definitely not. Rich's pleasant personality and easy as- surance will help him along the road to success.
