WHAT THE FUTURE HULDS Let us look into the crystal ball and see what the future holds for the Class of l9l3. Oh, yes, Uncle Sam has had a big part in planning their future. Why, here is General Robert Hinds and Captain Harold Kunze. The Army is also holding quite a few other members. There are Russell Barrett as a Major, David Sanford as a Lieutenant Colonel, and Bill Glenn as lst Lieutenant. We are honored to have with us the most famous singer on Broadway, Dorothy Troester. She has Bob Chapman af. her singing partner, and they are sure of success. Well! Here is our only WAVE. Fnsign Elsie Foxall. Our glamorous Jody Montrella is now ,lack Powers' S'Top-notch lrodel. Ginny Price is traveling from camp to camp with her cadet husband. Hmm! It seems as if our talented members are very successful. Babs Fellenz is a commercial artist, ,lane Schutz is at Penn State taking an art course, Phebe Auckland is at the head of a journalist department with Hulda Borzillo as the star reporter, and Frank Keller is a vital asset to Uncle Sam as a chemist, and at the present time he is working on a powerful explosive to blow up Hitler! ,lack Berkley's drafting is helping the camps to become better. Samuel Grieves has done very well in the Navy. Marian Buchler and Claire Dixon are bravely awaiting the return of their gobs from the Navy. Jean Fesmire, Millie Bachanowsky, Doris Worthington, and Anna Bohle, are also anxiously waiting for their doughboy husbands to come home, and Bobbie Frye for her General. Shirley Peterson has accomplished a lot for Women Suffrage and she is bound to be our next president, but her heart lies in the Navy with her gob of love. It seems as if time repeats itself, but now on a greater scale. The president of this class, Horace Lodge, is now the President of the United States, and he is happily married with a home, wife, and children. These were always his ideas of success! Warren Fesmire is a successful electrical engineer. Bea Wynkoop is a private secretary of the First National Bank, and .lo Senner is President Lodge's private secretary. Marcy Campoli is on final assembly in a defense plant. Pauline Kalanty has finally settled down with one of her ,loe's. Ed Swanson and Bucky Wolfirlger are with the Marines. Alvin Merrick is now running an Improvement School, whose main topic is 6'How to Overcome Bashfulnessf' Hazel Barrett and Maggie Johnson are leading a very leisurely life. Forrest Henry is a basketball coach. Anna Notheis and Ruth Draving are doing general office work. Al Ofterdinger is a professional basketball star. .lohn Freidel is a lifeguard at Cheltenham swimming pool. Donald Roberts has established a Lonely Heart's Bureau. He is hoping to discover a lost heart. Howard Booz is President Lodge's personal adviser concerning the Army and Navy. Yes, our crystal ball has proved that this class has a very successful future, but the most outstanding thing it sees is VICTORY! 21
