In addition to the sponsorship of the Navaho Indian School, the FUTURE TEACHERS QF AMERICA members benefited from observing local elementary classes, thus learning more about the teaching profes- sion. In keeping with its philosophy, the BUYS, HI-Y served the school and community by the raising of funds for charity through the sale of book covers and the sale of soft drinks at basketball games. The principal project of the GIRLS' HI-Y this year was the sponsor- ing of a foreign exchange student. The members of the club also devoted their services to the information desk and to the candy store, both valuable services. President Campbell conducts Student Council meeting. N.A.S.C.
