BENNER During his twenty-five years of teaching at Lower Merion, Mr. Benner, recently retired head of the Commercial Department, has striven to fulfill the school motto - Corpori, Menti, Moribus. As treasurer of the Athletic Association, for example, he has managed the funds that have created our excellent sports program-from good sports come good bodies. By his teachings he has increased the knowledge of his pupils, many of whom he then dispatched through his employment ollice to rapidly advancing jobs. Similarly, he has often caused our spirits to soar when his jokes and adages brightened many an otherwise dull day. - Since he always very willingly executed the pleasant as well as the un- glamorous jobs that come with every man's work, we dedicate the 1956 Enchiridion to Abram S.
