UEUIIZATIUN In guiding us as a class through senior high school, Mr. john Petter has given freely of his time and effort in helping with dances, work- ing on the Senior Play, and manag- ing the Washington Trip. Business adviser for several years to the Merionite, he has been a main cog in the workings of that publication, and his handling of varied small school accounts has required many hours of tedious work. To a sponsor and a friend, we wish to dedicate the 1946 Enchiridion.

Fowl Entering its 51st year as an institution for training and educating American youth, Lower Merion has had a past record that has built lasting tradition in scholastic and athletic endeavors. This foundation has made pos- sible the fruitful years of the present, a present which has carried on and added to the activities that were established with the fervor that is Lower Merion's heritage. The periment that have provided in arriving at prosperity for result of the years of planning and ex- have gone into building this tradition the sort of experience that is so necessary and maintaining a future of peace and the peoples of the world.
