Our parTy, given in The gymnasium merely for The pleasure of iTs aTTendanTs, was mosf widely appreciaTed by The whole school. Our firsT accomplishmenT as a class was The selecfion of our class officers and adviser. The leaders we chose To go down in The hisfory of Good Ol' Regional High were Craig WoosTer, president ArThur Brewin, vice president Anna Murphy, sec- refary: Joseph Shaffer, Treasurer, and Miss A. Campagna, adviser. We presenfed A Young Man's Fancy aT The second annual One-ACT Play ConTesT. One always remembers Thaf year of de- velopmenf, greaf personal imporfance, buT of pure, simple soul. I945 and I946 were unforgeffable years of inTeresTing work and fine social evenfs. ln iTs aufumn seffing of changing leaves and pine Trees, The revived Sophomore Cofillion was an evenT well marking The year in our class hisfory. Having become beTTer acquainTed wifh each ofher, we now chose our class leaders for l945 and I946. A new Re- gionalife. Then Miss Gawrysiak, was chosen To be our class adviser. Our leaders were James Husfed. president ArThur Brewin, vice president Norma Holloway, secrefaryg Carl Keifer, Treasurer. We presenfed a collosal play, They PuT on a Play, buf To our disappoinfmenf, we didn'T win. In I946 we aT lasT became upperclass- men and conducfed our class elecfions. The resulfs were as follows: James Husfed, presi- dent Arfhur Brewin, vice president Norma Holloway, secrefaryg Carl Kiefer, Treasurer: Mrs. Gawinski, adviser. In need of a beTTer pecuniary sfanding in our Treasury, we sold pennanTs in The cafeferia and on The sporfs fields. As anoTher brave aTTempT, we enfered The fifTh annual One-AcT Play ConTest buT in vain. On The Friday nighf before Hallowe'en, we gave a Hallowe'en Dance. This dance was a greaT success financially and so- cially. Everyone will no doubf remember The cosfume worn by George Neel, which won The crazy prize. ln January. The week-end affer mid-year examinafions, we held The Corn-Cob Jamboree. Eagerly we awaifed The arrival of our class rings. In The spring when They came, we gave The Junior Ring Dance, which we had hoped would become a Tradifional dance for The juniors. ln May, we gave The Junior-Senior Prom. This precedenfed dance, usually held aT The school, was held af Medford Lakes Lodge. The Prom Queen was Nancy Del ConTe of The iunior class. The Prom King was Buzz Bruce of The senior class. Back To school-seniors! We found our new schedule and alphabefized homerooms efficacious To everyone: along wiTh The re- Turn of The inevifable Miss Megargee and Mrs. Forneron. We began our senior year wiTh The elecTion of officers and adviser. Mrs. Gawinski was appoinTed by Mr. Chace. according To The new regulafions. Elec- Tions were as follows: Mike AngeloTTi, presi- dent RoberT Zardus, vice-president Doro- Thy Fiorenfino, secrefary, and Vernon Norcross, Treasurer. We opened a snack concession aT The foofball games, wiTh Arfhur Brewin serv- ing as chairman of The concession commif- Tee. The consensus is ThaT during The Re- gional '47 foofball season, we had school spiriT. AT The games all manners of punc- Tilio were forgoffen as The crowd wenf wild. The presenfafion of DynamiTe Dan was our lasT aTTei'npT To win The Cne-Acf Play ConTesT. The epicurean TasTes of our classmaTes were well safisfied by The porTraiT picfures Take'n by Merin STudio for The L'Agenda. Our Trip To Washingfon, D.C., The firsf opporfunify for many of us To see our CapiTol, was The acme of our high school evenfs. The Capifol building, hofels, Penn- sylvania Avenue, Washingfon Monumenf. Smifhsonian lnsTiTuTe, Congressional Library, Theafers. and The exquisife blossoms of The cherry Trees will remain wifh us as one of The besT Treks of our lives.
