Instrumental Music The Band Booster's Organization gave monthly square dances for the benefit of the band. The band was able to purchase several new instruments. The Flutophone Band, in its second year as an addition to the Music Department, has encouraged many grade school students to take an interest in high school instrumental music. Through the efforts of Mr. Mickler and Mr. LaCivita it has proved to be very successful. The Seniors graduating from the band this year are Catherine Esarco, Sam Torella-trumpets, Jack DeLucia-clarinet, Carmie Gizzi -baritone, Dick Cearfoss-drums. Due to a young and inexperienced band the activities of the band have been limited to high school assemblies. For the Spring Festival in Struthers, several members of the band were selected to represent Lowellville in the All-County Band on April 29.
