Jackson MlltOH was our next scheduled game Thls was a game the Rockets had to flght hard to w1n The fmal few mlnutes of the game declded who was to w1n The Rockets won 37 33 The next meetmg wlth Struthers was ln thelr newly bullt fleld house where after a see saw battle Lowellxllle turned the tlde and de feated the Wlldcats 37 33 We met Canfleld next and aftel another close game up to the half Canfleld pulled ahead to wln wlth a score of 61 47 Columblana CIIDDCFS were our next opponents The Rockets L11 able to mamtaln the pace that was set up by the C hppers were thus defeated Fmal score of thxs game was 58 34 We then traxeled to Sprlngfleld where vue set the Tlgers back wxth a 48 33 declslon Sebrlng our next opponent after a n1p and tuck battle nosed the Rockets out by tvso pomts The flnal SCOIQ of thlS game was Sebrlng 46 and Lowellvllle 44 Greenford then traveled to Lovsellxllle where they were rolled oy er by the Rockets 1n an easy 58 32 uctorv Our second game wlth Poland was not to end as the fxrst After rece1v1ng a loss from the Rockets earller ln the season Poland was out to get the Rockets At the end of the game we had lost wlth Poland scormg 41 whlle vue had only 36 polnts The following mght we yourneyed to McDonald where we agaln gamed another loss McDonald proved the more powerful Wlth a 47 38 uctory Our last home game was played wlth Berlm Center The Rockets led all the way and handed Berlln a 69 21 setback North Llma was the last game of the season and sparked by B111 Yoho we lost agam ws 1th a 51 33 score Basketball Tournaments Lowellvllle Hlgh started the 1952 Mahomng County Class B Tour nament at Struthers Memorlal Fleld House Thelr flrst tourney game was agalnst Belolt D Onofrlo Burns and Frech featured the attack by connectlng for 38 polnts as the Rockets won handlly 64 35 The Rockets were dow ned by Canfleld fthe future Mahonlng County champsl who managed to hold a shght edge for the whole game and defeatlng Lowellwllle 56 34 Lowellulle easlly downed the next oppo nent Sprxngfleld by a score of 57 33 The attack was led by Burns wlth 13 polnts Lowellulle was matched Wlth Poland for a thlrd tlme They spht durlng season play Poland Wlth superxor helght advantage topped Lowellvllle 58 47 Lowellulle galned a Consolatlon Runner Up trophy and fmlshed thelr 1951 52 season - ' 1 '1 - .
