'l'he New North Side School building was first discussed seriously in the early forties and perhaps would have been constructed sooner had not the Second XVorld War intervened-then came post-war in- flation and it seemed that a new building was beyond realization: but the people wanted it and they now have it .... a school plant, as fine, it seems. as it is possible to build. Incidentlv, the Old Bell, once recast, again reposes on top of the new building, calling the students to school and quite often tolling out the news that another basketball game had been won. Quite proud we shoul.l be that back in 1875, the Sum of 860 was raised to provide -1 librarv for the school.
