Miss Helen Skinner ln November, l945, the Girl's Athletic Association was organized, its purpose is to pro- mote the girls' interest in sports. All girls from grades 7 to 12 are eligible to take part in the activities of the club. Each year new officers shall be chosen by these girls. One girl is chosen as head for each sport in which the association is active. This board oi heads and officers meet the first Monday of every month and decide the activities of that month. On the lirst Thursday of each month inter-class basketball games are played. ln each activity that a girl participates, she is given points. At the end. of this year, ac- cording to the rules of the G. A. A., each Senior girl merits a small letter it she has acquired ZOO scoring points, or a pin, if scoring 300 points Activities of the G. In the early part of the year, Boardman High School and Lowellville exchanged assembly programs. The Chorus made up the main part of this program.
