Up in Canada’s north country the boys discover Guy Lefebvre who is running a plush reducing salon for wealthy matrons. On their return trip they run into Charley Mann on his way upto Alaska, it seems he has contracted the job of painting the white line down the middle of the Alcan Highway. As the boys rehash old times they discover still one classmate they have not heard from. After searching high and low they find none other than Joe Finneral who is now residing in France’s Left Bank working under the assumed name of Adrian Guillary, on a gigantic mural depicting the history of trades and crafts through the years. Tom Fuhs is the new owner of the American Auto Seat Company and his favorite vehicle is the Jeep. Joe Rowe changed to teaching and is now at Trade School. Roger Houle is now the manager of General Electric, he has just made David Curran head custodian . Frank McMahon is John Squires number one salesman. John now owns The Squirrel Liquor Go. Jim Lank- ford now runs his own service station and Bruce Ransom is his steady customer. Greg Roy is still giving surfing lessons at Happy Hampton. Maurice Aubrey is the manager of the Automotive section at the Giant Store. His two salesmen are John Molloy and Armand Levasseur. Dennis Digiovanni now owns International Harvester ans among his many employees are Paul Laurent and John Tarrant. Dennis Halligan and Allen Drew now own a new front end shop. Bob Hamelin and Roland Gauthier made a career out of the service. Bob Furey and Nick Iaco- viello now own the only helicopter repair shop in the state. Dick Gardner owns his own coffee house and Art Lackey is a steady customer. John Lambert, Bob Plourde and Bob (Squeaky) Witkum are working at the State Hospital . Tom Lewis is still in the Army and Dick Gallagher returned to Trade School to teach in the Shop. As Marty Bloomgren was driving along with his neighbor Chuck Sperounis they saw Bob Vezina thumbing a ride on the V.F.W. Bob is now unemployed. They stopped at Toni’s to have a snack and they saw Claude Wallace, who now owns the store, Paul St. Cyr who manages it, and Paul St. Louis who does all the work. Dave Staskell, who is now a builder stopped in to get the coffee for his men , and Doug Wiggins is his foreman. Dave Levasseur just finished his house on time for his wedding and Ray Fournier just finised talking to the Seniors at Trade School telling them the benefits of joining the Marines. Frank Fantini just celebrated his eighth wedding anniversary. Roger Dery, Ronald Christian, Leonard Gendron, Harry Betty, Gary Ferreira and Paul Lambert are all on the City Council in the city of Lowell. By the way the city is now bankrupt thanks to these classmates of ours. Richard Dejesus and his wife Cathy with three beautiful girls, Debra, Nancy and Patricia. His school chum Walter Kubacki is still trying to find a job in the trade. Bill Ford now has his own com- pany, which specializes in making hand tools. Ted Koza has a cloth- ing store on High St. and is doing very well for himself. Ted Kennedy and Jim Johnson are barbers and have started a new fad by inventing a new style, its called a Baldie”. Armand Landry is now the World Lightweight Champ. Edward Lis has his own construction company in South Lowell. James Walsh is now coaching at Boston College where Bob Cousy just resigned. Kenny Favreau is now the President of the Ajax Corporation. I just received a letter from Bob Cayer who is still in the Navy telling me he was promoted to Chef. Joe Kuprevich is President of Honeywell, Inc. Paul Maille has an appliance store on Bridge St; by the way, he’ll never get any of my business again. James Ralls is a master electrician, he is doing so well that he has hired a new helper and I think he said his name was Carrigan. I bumped into Donald Page the other day, he is teaching school at Lowell High. Ron LeBlanc owns a used car lot, and he’s still paying on his ’62 Ford. Paul Rivard owns his own gym, and specialized in weight reduction. Richard Lima is happily married and is the new owner of Jach and A1 ’ s service sta- tion. I was reading the newspaper yesterday and saw where Wayne Hammar is touring Europe with his wife who is an actress in Holly- wood. Richard Beauchesne has just opened a small machine shop that manufactures motorcycle parts. As we went on talking he invited me to his shop. Entering, who did I see but Rene Cailler, Hector Clermont and Normand Clermont working happily there for the past several years. As I was talking to the happy threesome they told me that Crash Clough and A1 Landry are now owners of several of the largest engine rebuilding companies in the world. Working for them managing some of the plants are Bill Dubois, Jim Greaves, Ron Tougas and Steve Ironfield. As we talked on, they told me that Bob Shepard, now the owner of the All-Rite tool company decided to go over for a visit. Working for Bob are several men running some of the most difficult cutter grinders in the world. Frank Janeczko is in charge of maintenance there. I also learned that Paul Martin, Robert Le- clair, Don Williamson and Chris Vangos are all happily married. Carol Bello who has always dreamed of having her own T-Bird now owns one and is an assistant manager to the Ford Motor Corp- oration. Sue Bordeleau now runs and owns all the Sue-B restau- rants and is part time food sampler for the Pillsbury Company. Elaine Mainville ever since she’s been wearing Rae’s bowling shoes, has won twelve championship awards and just flew in from California where she won a grand prize of $1200. Lorraine Paquin is enjoying her full time job in Tewksbury and helping out nights at a Lowell Funeral Parlor(business is booming). Marty Hartley is working full time in front of City Hall where she runs her own sidewalk bazaar. Helen and Lenny are celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary today and are proudly showing off pictures of their five big brown-eyed sons. Estelle Beauchesne finally settled down with her great guy Norm and has two blonde, blue -eyed little girls, with future plans for a baker’s dozen. Lorraine Danis is living in Hawaii trying to bleach her hair under the tropical sun, since Ray insists she leave it natural. Millie Aldrich is married and lives in Wisconsin on a large dairy farm. Carl, her husband, is as proud as can be over the brith of their first daughter after six adorable sons. Dot Bourget just flew in from her tour of Hawaii with many new ideas for a fabulous interior decorating company. Lucille Clermont and Linda Stecchi are now working at Bedford Air Base and recently married two handsome servicemen. Ann Mathies is en route to Europe with her husband for a two-month vacation. Cecile Gagnon and Sue Marchand are successfully running a very large charm school in Washington, D.C. Diane Sevigney, one of our prominent citizens, is also busy with her twin girls.
