We find Louis Christedes and Doug Nelson expanding their garage on Moody Street,, Daniel Guthrie, their ace mechanic has just invented a new spark plug which del- ivers twice as much spark as the conventional plug. This year ' s Indianapolis 500 winner Throttle Leclaire said, Without Dan ' s new plug I never would have won . During the race there was a terrible collision and ambulances from surrounding cities were called in for the injured. The fastest one was Dino ' s which was driven by none other than Ted Dineen and Donald Hubert. Walter Laflam, now an Admiral in the Navy has enlisted for another ten year hitch. The President of General Motors, Tom Kennedy, has announced the new maintenance man who is George McCormack. Seen every Wednesday at the Unemployment Office on Hurd Street for the past three years were Norm Rondeau, Roland Bernier and Ray Theria- ult. Dick Laurencelle, well-known spray painter, has just been off- ered a job by Admiral Laflam of the United States Navy painting battleships. We are now visiting the girls from Vocational School. First of all we see Doris Gervais who is doing fine, she has two beautiful children. Next we meet Gloria Greenwood who is engaged to be married and is still working as a photographer. Rachel Ann lacoviello, who is still single, is working in a hat shop. Then we saw Rita Isabelle. Her husband is still boxing and is now a pro . Right next door we have Blanche Matte who is still ener- getic and full of pep. Jeannette Nadeau is happily married and has three children. Her husband is also a professional fighter. Elaine Paladino who now has two children visits Jeannette at least once a week to play cards. Cecile Lacourse, who works in a beauty salon is still single and looking for the right fellow. Leaving the beauty salon we see Lorraine Paquin who is going home to her husband and children. At the corner supermarket we saw Jeannine Mi lot and Joyce LaRochelle working busily at the cash registers. Elaine Mainville who is in the hairdressing business and doing well was also doing her weekly marketing. Maureen Whitcomb is busy modeling in a famous shop in Paris. Pearl Tessier is now working at the corner variety store and is engaged to be married. Here comes Pauline Ninteau who is now married to a Millionaire. We also met Louise Regis who is a fashion designer. In business with her is Dianne Quinn and they are quite prosperous. Helen Rene owns her own dancing studio. Carol Lemelin is now teaching at school. Dave Lowery has now taken over Lowery ' s Auto Body Service,, This has been Dave ' s dream since he was a child. Across the street Bob Lamoureox and Bruce Wilen have monopolized the auto seat cover business and are charging Lowery outrageous prices for the interiors which have been ruined after his bodywork, Leo Pepin of the Paint- ing department is leaving on a business trip to Washington. He is searching for a crew of men, namely graduates of his class to per- form the huge task of painting the White House. The first class- mates he looked up were Gerald Sarantakis and Donald Giguere. He soon learned that both of them were painting in the Beverly Hills section of California. Next to be called upon was Frank Cassidy who was unable to help either. Frank was busy painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Mr. Pepin finally got the men for his job and headed with paint cans and ladders to the White House. The President of the Raytheon Plant in Andover, Eddie Mar- tin met and old classmate walking down Merrimack Street. Yes it ' s Russ Jarek, owner of the Jarek Enterprises, and they decided to go into Tiny ' s Snack Bar and talk over a cup of coffee. They thought it would be nice if the Drafting class got together for a reunion. The head waiter came over for their order and the two fellows had to look twice, it was Norm Morin who had recently purchased the Luncheonette. They sent out invitations and it was to be held on Don MacLean ' s yacht and all the employees from his company were invited. They were to meet on May 17 1973 at 8:30 A.M. They, Russ, Don and Eddie were waiting on Don ' s private dock when a shi ny black limosine drove into sight. Its passengers were John Hodge, who purchased Lowell Tech and converted it into a private gym that does quite well. The other passengers were Don Grant of Grant Architectual Enterprises and Norm Morin. They went aboard the yacht, sat and talked, danced with the girls and planned another reunion in the near future. This reunion was such a success they just had to get together again for another swingin ' time. Lina Raymond has a fabulous job at Hyannisport, and is very happy doing Mrs. John Kennedy ' s hairdo. On further investigation we found Judy Landry or should we say Mrs. Frank O ' Brien who is happily married and enjoying her California split-level home. Jan- ice Gar the is doing a lot of traveling following Chuck in his car- eer in the Armed Forces. Doris Isabelle has quite a spooky job with an undertaker as a hairdresser. Abina Cardozza finally took the big step and she is very happy as the wife of the President of the National Hairdressers Association. Our blonde classmate Vicky Kostezewa is in New York working as one of the technicians at the National Show. Her associate, Donna Thamer is planning a trip to the moon for a location for their new beauty shop. Walt Disney has hired our classmate ' s husband Pearl Grimard as a top cartoonist and we find Mr. and Mrs. Ken Shemchuk very happy with their new job. Pauline LeClair was seen at Sweetland Garden with her old gang. She is now the owner of the establishment. We find Bernie Correia on television advertising Adorn ' s new teasing comb. She is still teasing up a storm. Brenda Benoit is the head waitress at Grants new location on the moon rocket ship and all astronauts are wel- come. We saw Priscilla LeBreque and her husband Peter Golden at a downtown office filling out their income tax return with ten exem- ptions on the list. We happened to see June Demers on a rocket ship to Venus. She is looking for Claudette Comtois who is an instructor at the Venus de Milo School of Hairdressing. Nancy Correia is now teaching at Vocational School. Eleanor Foster is still undecided after ten years. Joline Cognac is still searching using her mot to, Better late than never . Pauline Gauthier hasn ' t stopped looking at the boys. Carol Bello ' s husband Gary, has just opened Carol and Gary’s Machine Shop . Sue Bordeleau now has a collection of five baby dolls. Gloria Bisson has been sewing for her little Joyce since 1968. Pauline Beausoliel has a quaint little dress shop of her own. Dot Arcand is secretary to the Vice-Pres- ident of the United States. Singing songs to Butch we find Estelle Beauchesne. Good luck Butch. Pauline Daunais is seen making med- ical history in the emergency ward of a hospital in Washington, D o Co as she tries to restore Jean Artley ' s head which she accid- ently tore off. Rose Crawford, Gloria Cayer and Paulette Dubuque all have beautiful little children and live in Alaska. Diane Des- roches has announced her engagement. Georgette Chartier and Lor- raine Danis are quite happy with their twins and both intend to move into their new homes very soon. William Itron owns a chain of grocery stores in Maine. As we were visiting one of Bill ' s stores we met Robert Romanauskas who is now retired at the age of 27. Dennis Cailler, A1 Leduc and Francis Lyons are co-owners of a large furniture mill. Paul Mar- tin is now being offered thousands of dollars to turn over his 1951 Ford to Chester Fortin ' s antique shop. Ray Tessier has just com- pleted his split-level home for his wife ' s eleventh wedding anniv- ersary. Ray hired Brian Britton and Leon L ' Hereux to do the inter- ior work on his new home. Edward Jusczak is now in the Middle West raising cattle. The foreman of his ranch is Joseph Ferreira who is the best mule trainer in the territory. Paul Simoneau is Joe ' s side-kick. A1 Hebert has added a small addition to the Pentagon after he drove his truck through the side of it. After returning home from overseas where he was in the Marines, John Flemings is now running for President of an electrical concern against his old rival John Skehan. Ronald Tremblay is treasurer, and is doing such an awful job that John Flemings asked Gene Saucier to campaign for him for the presidency, and if he was elected into office he would give Gene the job of treasurer and send Tremblay to school for a refresher course on How to add and subtract in favor of the company . Robert Charity who is the Secretary, is very much in favor of this, as a matter of fact he ran for treasurer against Tremblay last year, and had about as much luckas Fleming will have running against Skehan. Rumor has it that Mr. Brox is coming in to straighten out the whole mess. drafting club officers Phil Dube is the owner of the biggest textile machine shop in the city of Lowell, and working for Phil is one of the best foremans in the state. It is none other than Mike Farrah and when he needs a little extra help he always goes to Tom Dalton who is now teaching at Trade school in the Machine Shop. Head accountant for Mr. Dube is Roger Abbott who is now the father of 13 children. He by the way was the first one in the class to walk down the center aisle. The California division of Phil ' s plant is under the leadership of Bob Jusczak and HORN Mullen. Rocky LaChance was with them up until a few years ago but ran away and married a rich widow. He is now on a two year honeymoon touring Europe. No one has heard a thing from Dick Parent since he piloted a rocket ship to the moon. There is no need to worry though because with him were twenty actresses from Hollywood. SCIENCE CLUB OFFICERS taal IDENTIFICATION OF BABY PICTURES 1. Sue Bordeleau in her Daddy ' s arms. 2. Vicky Kostrzewa CLASS OF 1964 KNEELING: STANDING: CLASS OF 1965 Bill Mical, Manager, Bob Gitschier, Robert Vercellin. Gerald Grondin, Richard Nowak, Ronald Leblanc and Mr. Slattery, Coach. JUNIOR VARSITY This year ' s basketball team did fairly well considering the many discouraging moments. The worst setback was the sudden death of Mr 0 Edward Lynch, our basketball coach. This dampened the team ' s spirit considerably. The new basketball coach, Mr e Edward Slattery did the best job he could with the team and corn- pi led the second best win-loss record of the season in the city 0 Trade also ended up in fourth position in league competition. They entered the Bay State Tourney without much success; but the students of the school kept the player ' s spirits high by attending the games and cheering them on. Let us hope next years team will have as good, if not better season. We shall be truly sorry to lose four of our top players; Captain John Hodge, Ronald Tremblay, A1 Leduc and John Skehan to the outside world. We anticipate they will do as well in the future as they did on the basketball court e COACHING STAFF RON TREMBLAY GIRLS BASKETBALL The basketball team was late in getting started this year. We progressed in talent and skill during the season. We played the Girls Club twice, winning once. Some of the players are: Gloria Greenwood, Captain, Blanche Matte, Jeannine Martin, Sue Bordeleau, and Elaine Mainville. Others are; Donna Laffey, Carol Lecoy, Priscilla Rocheleau, Gloria Cote, Joyce Hamel and Aline Brunei. We improved by practice, hard work and coaching from Miss Connors this season, but we plan to be even better next year. THE BRAINS if HIGH SCORERS IS BASKETE We predict this year ' s baseball team will win the Greater Boston Vocational League. The team has many veterans returning from last year with the addition of a new coach in Mr. Edward Slattery. In addition last year ' s team finished second in the league standing and only two Seniors have left. The team has plenty of spirit and is confident to win the league crown. The veterans returning to the starting line-up are: Thomas Fuhs, Louis Christedes, Doug Nelson, Dennis Thibodeau, Robert L ' Hereux and Robert Ronamauskas. The other position are filled by two new comers, Daniel Guthrie and Raymond Ruiter. The pitching staff is composed of John Hodge and Ray Fournier, both veterans along with the new comers Raymond and Robert Lagasse. The reserve strength is comprised of Russ Jarek, Fred Modeski, Ted Kennedy, Robert Levasseur, David Nelson, Mike Krygowski and David Hatch. On the basis of last year ' s performance and what we have seen thus far this season, the Lowell Trade High Baseball Team will have quite a bit to say in the Vocational League outcome in 1 963 « CHEE PLEADERS CO-CAPTAINS SENIOR HOME ECONOMICS junior hairdressers JUNIOR HOME ECONOMICS SENIORS SENIOR HAIRDRESSERS GOOD GOVERNMENT DAY REPRESENTATIVES GIRLS BOWLING YEARBOOK STAFF FALL RECORD HOP COMMITTEE BCWLING CLUB OFFICERS BOYS HONOR ROLL DTMP.
