The 1968 Pickout Staff proudly dedicates this year- book to: Mr. James A. Brennan, Placement Director; B.A., Boston College; M.B.A., Boston University; LL.B., Northeastern University; Member of Massachusetts and Federal Bars. Mr. Brennan since arriving in the fall of 1966 has made an indelible mark on the school. He is always available to the seniors who want advice and counsel- ling about job applications or interviews. A little known fact is that he does most of the work in setting up interviews, schedules and posting times on the boards, outside his office. Mr. Brennan, besides his many duties at school, still finds time to be faculty adviser to Pi Lambda Phi Fra- ternity. He is very active in this capacity and finds time to visit the house and give advice to all the brothers. This counselling is not just a privilege for a few but any underclassman who desires advice on how to apply for jobs or availability of jobs can see him. Every student at Tech has at one time or another looked for a part-time job to earn some extra money. Mr. Brennan has aided by posting the availability of such jobs and in some cases aided in attaining the job for the student by calling the company before the stu- dent goes down to apply. The work done by Mr. Brennan is most appreciated by our recent graduates who will tell you that without his aid they would not have had as many interviews or job offers and indirectly, their jobs. At this time we of the Pickout would like to extend our thanks to Mr. Brennan for all he has done for the student body and hope that he remains at Tech for many years to come. 13
