GENERAL STUDIES The General Studies Course has three divisions — Social Sciences, headed by Professor John R. Robertson; Air Science and Tactics, headed by Colonel Walter E. Kelly; and Languages and Humanities, headed by Professor Lester H. Cushing. There is no actual degree offered, but these courses are included in the other degree courses at LTI. This department is continually expanding as it is realized that a well-rounded student also needs liberal arts courses in con- junction with the scientific courses which lead to his degree.
