A Day in the You wake up at 6:30 with Dale Doormansvoice buz- zing in your ear, fall out of bed, dress in the dark, and rush to the bus stop. You get off the Marinel yel- low bus - half dead with one eye open - and trudge toward the new building. Who can function properly at the ungodly hour of 7:25, you wonder, wishing desperately thatgyou had an extra hour of sleep in the Life. .. morning. Whose idea was it to change the time, anyway? As you struggle to open the door, you realize that you have a big decision to make: Palmer's or Maxwell House. Because you don't have much time, you decide to grab a greasy doughnut in the smartly decorated caf. You keep an eye constantly on the clock because you don't want to be late: 5 tar- dies : 1 absence and 5 ab- sences : 1 demerit. The se- nior class motto has be- come: Save Your Skips - late May and early June af- ford great beach-going weather.
