MEMORIES THAT LINCER eating lunch in the hall . . . running to beat the lines in the lunchroom . . . coming back to school and finding it all painted and no more Coburn Hall watching the educational films in Drivers' Ed . . . wondering, What is that awful smell coming from the Chemistry class? practicing for drill going back to regular school hours after the extended day getting hit on the head with a clacker bringing back the yo-yo square dancing in the annex without enough boys to go around . . . having classes outside in the hot weath- er visiting all the Christmas parties wearing gym uniforms . . . meeting new friends getting picked to work in an office or Personnel for senior year having your lock sawed off your locker wishing you were a senior so you could have a Senior Skip Day too . . . practicing the clubs . . . doing home- work in another class . . . marching behind the audito- rium . . . writing on desks . . . smoking in the basement having Mr. Finn, Mr. O'Brien, Mr. O'Neil, and Mr. Murphy for floormasters seeing the Headmaster for the first time. gs. Y YOU WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER . . . coming to LHS during your junior high school days and thinking, It's so big! . . . getting lost on the first day of school finding your homeroom in the auditorium or Co- burn Hall finding your locker on the third floor when your homeroom was in the basement run- ning into your old junior high friends in the corridor . . . having to wear I.D. badges . . . pushing through the crowded hallways to get to class on time coming to school in the middle of the morning and getting out just before dark getting in trouble and being sent to the floormaster sneaking a smoke between classes playing cards in the student lounge skipping health walking in the snow and the rain over to St. Anne's, the Health Building, and the An- nex finding out who your teachers were going to be for the next year and hearing all the horrible things about them from the kids who had them this year looking up to the seniors and wondering, Am I ever gonna be like that? forgetting your locker combination when you were in a hurry having your lock stolen being late for class practicing and practicing for Field Day.
