SULLIVAN Headmaster To the Graduates of 1960 With the graduates, we on the faculty experienced in the '50's changes in science, education and government. During this time we have endeavored to anticipate the events to come in the decade upon which we are now entering, and to prepare you to meet the demands which will be made upon you in living through the approaching years. We have planned to provide you with basic standards upon which you will be able to rely as you adapt your scheme of living to the innovations which are bound to come. Just as modern fabrics replace those used in the past, new skills will produce new devices for the future. We hope you have been able here to cultivate such standards that you will discriminate, recognize and enjoy the best of the new developments. 4
