The Science Club encourages interest in science by con- ducting lectures twice a month on all phases of science, and sponsors an annual science fair. With 300 members, this club claims a larger membership than any other club of h . X b Lowell High School, which indicates the general increase of scientific curiosity among the students. The classroom instruction is under the direction of Miss Rose O,Neil. While Miss O'Neil teaches the three C's which make careful, cautious, and courteous drivers, Mr. Ray Riddick, Mr. Driver Nicholas Apostolakos, Mr. Wyman Trull, Mr. Thomas Grady, and Mr. Joseph Kulis direct the road training be- hind the wheels of our three school cars. The complete course takes about a year, adds a point toward graduation, and reduces insurance rates. The success of Driver Education will be told in a future of fewer acci- dents.
