EDITORIAL BOARD Since September of '48, we on the staff have been working constantly to bring the students of Lowell High your souvenir book-with all its memories of the four years you spent in this school. We are now able to sit back and survey with pride our finished product. An enormous amount of effort has gone into this publication, and praise is due to the cooperation of the faculty and the student body. Few students realize the hours Miss Ryan has spent on this project. Without her experience and aid, the publication of The Spindle would never have been possible. To her we extend our most sincere and hearty thanks. To Miss Shanley and her Personnel Staff we here express our gratitude for the long hours they have spent in typing copy for the printer. We know that you will always treasure this Spindle,', for each time you re-read it you will re-live the days, the weeks, and the years well-spent here beside Lucy Larcom parkway.
