Greetings From the Governor It is a pleasure for me to join in extending greetings to the alumni, students, and faculty of Lowell High School on the approaching centennial of their school's founding. As the oldest public high school in the Far West, Lowell has played a prominent part in the development of our State. The contributions its graduates have made to our culture and economy during the past 100 years have certainly been many and varied. The splendid tra- ditions and fine spirit which are characteristic of Lowell augur well for the future of your school as it embarks upon its second century of educational service in San Francisco. Cordially, GOODWIN J. KNIGHT Governor of California Governor Goodwin Knight
