ur cjqcfministrators PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE As the members of Lowell's Class of june 1955 go forth to become alumni of this famed institution we wish them the success that has so often awaited Lowell's graduating seniors. This success must be achieved through intelligent effort, hard work, integrity, and loyalty to the highest standards of right and truth. These are the habits and qualities that Lowell High School has sought, throughout the years, to encourage and develop in her students. These qualities explain the remarkable record of success of Lowell's alumni. This year's graduates are facing some uncertainties as they plan for the future. But this is not new. Many of Lowell's graduates have won success in similar times. So, graduates of june 1955, be true to Lowell's standards and the years ahead should be successful ones for you. EDITH E. PENCE Principal As I bid you farewell, it is with the hope that along with your scholastic achievement you have experienced growth in that most important part of your education, the development of character. Personal integrity, dignity, self respect and the desire to make of your abilities something really worth while are the attitudes necessary for a truly happy life. If Lowell has helped you to develop these traits of character then it has succeeded, and you may look toward the future with confidence and antici- pation. I know we will be proud of you. Your friendliness and cooperation contributed immeasurably to my initial and permanent feeling of acceptance with this outstanding institution. Thank you for these courtesies. For four years you have added your bit to the over-all composition of the Lowell reputation.
