CONNIE COVINGTON GINGER TREADWELL Fall President Spring President Ellzur -Qlahwn A very important part of our palace is the Girls Block L This year was a very enjoyable one for all the girls Under the leadership of the Fall of ficers President Connie Covington and Secre tary Sonya Cranston a term of successful ac tivities were planned With the Boys Block L the girls helped to plan the traditional Block L Dance Everyone came and had a terrific time The Girls Block L then planned a wonder ful Roller Skating Party Everyone had a great time even if they spent part of it on the floor The high light of the Fall term s activities was the Banquet at Eth El Berts The new Spring Term officers were announced' Much GIRLS 13211112 'nn to the delight of all Ginger Treadwell was elected president and Barbara Scalabrino was elected secretary Under the leadership of the new officers another term of wonderful activities were planned Another Block L Dance was given with the Boys Block L and as usual it was a great success The Girls Block L Social Committee planned a picnic at Tilden Park in Berkeley One of the other successful activities that they planned was the Roller Skating Party at Skate Land The Block L Banquet closed this term s ac tivities for the girls Every one agreed that the Girls Block L is really tops and after taking two years of a sport it is an honor worth work ing for BLOCK L 0 0,-,DOH it ww Cl ff! are 4? 2.45, 551.1 J Wt n F3 sf.
