lx., Fld? wrt ltwllll J X VPBLUEU t h th Sec ta y Kyra Opperma Da ce Comm ttee Member -C Harns WK g Sp 552111 illnm Juniata ln the Fall of l952, as always, a new group of Lords and Ladres came unto the ranks ot upper classmen and became eluguble to hold their class election Many candidates stood before them and promised to do their best It elected They were all able and the decuslon was hard, but, out ot the tlnals, vnctoruously came Bert Shapiro, presudent, Sylvra Hollungs worth, vrce presndent, and Kyra Opperman, secretary ln order for them to carry out thenr promused duties, they needed addrtronal assistance To help them plan the Prom and the class pucnlc, they chose Ken Arndt, Glen Bell, Marilyn El drup, Carol Harris, Vlctor Hebert, Pete Jans Sen, Walluta Koenrg, Marcra Mecklenberg, Carole Montgomery, and Alma Splvock On the night ot December l2, these Lords and Ladres, together wrth the hugh gunror no bles held thelr Junior Prom at the San Franclsco Rowing Club The theme was Snow Flake Ser enade and the ladies who had been lucky enough to go recerved small, red and gold buds They danced the nlght through to the musrc ot Bob Emerson and had a marvelous trme tY flr,,, 5 rl' l It B 2 X . N 4 so S525 y Hall Woo D m Wh te E Vog ste AJacosLCh BVoange 9' Spring Knut Jlumnrn Upon returning to Lowell nn the sprung of 53 the dreams of the Fall 52 hugh sophomores flnally came true when they became full fledged upper classmen They held theur first class electnons and elected Roland Peracca, presudcnt, Ann Mat chell, vlce president, and Hall Woo, secretary, to lead them These students who were very well selected by their classmates, In turn se lected a group of active people to help them carry out their plans These prlvlleged people were Davnd Burton, Larry Cohn, Alyse Jacobs, Carol Karstensen, Eleanor Vogel, Bart Voor Sanger, and Jlll White Together with the hugh juniors they planned thenr flrst Junior Prom which was a great suc cess lt carried the theme Golden Paradase and was held on Apnl l7 at the Palace Hotel Charlle Stearns was selected to supply the mu suc for the memorable evenrng After thus fnrst major event In their Low Junlor year, they proceeded to plan their first class plcnnc as upper classmen Wlth able assistance from theur class spon sor, and the H lO class, they held theur plcmc on April 22 at Glen Park There were games, dancing, and of course, food for the hungry young nobles F? a . ,, , K ggi , , , .
