Low Hurdles -- 100-Yard Dash -- l-OW Hurdles -- Normand R d ' ' aymon Bunny Rice Arlie Brown TRACK Lowel1's track team won its secondistraight county title this year with little effort. The Red Devils also won their own invitational track meet consisting of all the other Lane County schools by an impressive score of 203 to Mapleton's second place with 115. Four students, of whom three were juniors, went to State last year. They were Bunny Rice, 100-yard dashg Ron Matheny, pole vaultg and Neil Adkins, 440. Richard Scheibner was the Senior who went last year to run the mile and Arlie Brown attended State two years ago and ran the high hurdles. Other well-proven track men are Dale Moon, Sophomore, who ran the mile, and Richard Erick- son, Senior, in the shot put event. Lowell's relay team has had no equal so far this year. It is consisted of Neil Adkins, Arlie Brown, Ralph Burton, and Bunny Rice.
