FDR PETE' SAKE For Pete's Sakes, a comedy farce, was presented by the Junior class on November 24, 1953. The action began when Miss Sarah Pepperdine decided to take a trip to the Holy Land. After she left to catch the boat, her nephew, Peter Pepperdine, and his friend, Bill Bradshaw, whom Miss Pep- perdine dislikes very much, decided to rent her house. Upon renting the house to the Clarkstons, a social climber and her two daughters, Miss Pepper- dine suddenly became afraid of the water and called Peter and told him that she was returning home very soon. In order to get the Clarkstons out of the house he told jasmine, the darky cook, to tell them that the house was haunted. But in order to make jasmine believe this the two boys had to just about scare her to death. The climax came when Miss Pepperdine returned and found the Clarkstons still occupying her home.
