F' 0 J O an Evening An Evening of Theatrical Dancef' Lowell's annual dance concert, was presented March 25 and 26 and April 1 and 2 in the Performing Arts Complex. The concert consisted of twenty-three students from the advanced dance class, Orchesis, along with Mr. Paul Bucalstein serving as director. Mr. Bucalstein and the class all worked hard and long hours in class and in rehears- als to create a program that would have variety and excitement. The combination arrived at included fast-moving jazz, soul- ful ballet, and creative modern dances. Five soloists, three duos and twelve groups, performed the production num- bers. These performances were highlighted by the finals which included the entire cast in one last exciting salute. Two Hollywood dance judges and an ex- perienced performer attended the April lst program. They were Ms. Valentina Ou- mansky, a director of a Hollywood dance companyg Ms. Marilyn Carter, Valentina's assistantg and Mrs. Jeanne Bucalstein, a professional dancer.
