The ball is up for grabs as the Dev¬ ils battle the Wildcats for posses¬ sion. Anxiously overlooking Scott Carey ' s shot, Chris Jusevitch waits in anticipation. Prints Weiand, moving up from the Freshman coaching po¬ sition last year to JV this year, finished with a 10-10 record. Making the transi¬ tion well, Weiand enjoyed coaching at the JV Level. There’s a little more pressure and excitement, he said. Magley and his freshmen ended their sea¬ son with 16 wins and 3 losses. Certainly, success like that left an impression. However, Magley said, I was more worried about the players accepting me rath¬ er than making a good im¬ pression as a first-year coach.” If these three groups keep playing as hard as they did this season, Lowell Boys’ Basketball will con¬ tinue making impressions for years to come.
