National Honor Society Gains 36 New Members On October 9,1979 at 8 o ' clock, the National Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony in the Little Theater at Lowell High School. Thirty-six new members, which included 7 seniors and 29 ju¬ niors, were inducted into the club. To become a member of the Na¬ tional Honor Society, you must maintain a grade average of 3.5 through your freshman and soph¬ omore years. After you are induc¬ ted, you are expected to remain in the club. These 36 students were honored at the ceremony by Dr. Joseph Schuster, who presented each of the inductees their membership cards. After the ceremony, cake and punch were served in the North Commons. RIGHT: CONGRATULATIONS, LYNN!
