The 1979 Jr. Sr. Prom started out very early on Saturday morn¬ ing, May 5, when every girl got up early to start getting ready for the big night ahead of her. She couldn’t wait for the evening to come and when it finally did come, she let her parents take pic¬ tures of her and her date together, arm in arm. At the Prom, the girls were es¬ corted to the building while her date parked the car. When he en¬ tered the building, they began their way through the forest of pines. The first stop in the forest was the prom guest book. Every couple signed it. They then walked a bit farther and stopped again at the shawl rack where the girls left their shawls. The couples then walked toward the RIGHT: RATHER PEACEFUL. Rick Dre- ver and his date casually admire the wa¬ terfall at the prom. BELOW: IT MATCHED PERFECTLY. Carla Flatt checks out Tim Kacius ' boutonniere and is assured that it ' s a perfect match. CENTER. MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE? 1979 Prom King and Queen, Tom Dougherty and Su¬ san Bedoian, enjoy the traditional prom dance together.
