Homecoming ’64 The Red Devil football team provided a completely successful Homecoming by defeating the Dyer Indians 7-0 in the last 50 seconds. The first half was a defensive battle, and the teams went to the locker room knotted at 0-0. During halftime ceremonies Jamie Van Deursen was crowned Homecoming Queen, 1964. The second half remained scoreless until Rich Pace intercepted a Dyer pass. Chuck Laumeyer completed four passes, the last to Johnny Wilson for a touchdown. After the game, the Homecoming festivities sponsored by the Student Council.

Brenda Cavinder, Ramona Basham, Ronnie Wilson, and Harvey Cook participate on dress-up day. Two Little Devils, Marlene Mager and Kathy Yurgilas, throw the Dyer Indian into the DEVIL ' S RED HOT FIRE. Homecoming Week this year was filled with activities from Monday through Friday. Sponsored by the Student Council, the week included the special events of Sweatshirt Day, Sign Day, Class Sweater Day, Dress-up Day, and Color Day. The week was climaxed with a pep session on the football field on Friday afternoon before the game. On the brisk afternoon of Homecoming, the student body ambles toward the football field for a warm-up pep session with hopes of a Devil victory.
