The band started our school year off on the right foot by placing high in the state contest at Indianapolis. The football and cross country team s are showing great improvement. This past summer many students have brought honor to the school and community. Many of the faculty members have attended summer school. Some have traveled ex¬ tensively during the summer. All of this will make for better students and tea¬ chers. This is just the beginning of an out¬ standing year. No school is any better than the individual stydent and teacher. At all times the individual should remember he is r e pre s e nti ng Lowell High School. What you do reflects on the whole school system. If you are suc¬ cessful we all bask in the glory; if you do something wrong we all get the blame.
