Superintendent William A. Gullick Being the superintendent of schools might be compared to preparing for participating in the Olympic Games. The Olympic athlete who prepares for the decathlon must build his stamina and endurance to ready himself in ten different areas. School administration re- quires preparation and skill in at least as many areas as well as patience and wisdom to deal with a myriad of situations. The goal of the Olumpic Games is to win the gold medal. In the “game of education the gold medal is the boy or girl who succeeds in becoming a positive contributor in his com- munity.
