On December 22, 1976, L.H.S. received their sec- ond foreign exchange student from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Denise De Oliviera was enrolled as a Senior at L.H.S. and lived with Mr. and Mrs. John Foley during her six month stay. The students were eager to meet and get to know Denise. It is hoped that the students and Denise have learned a lot about each other. Denise was asked if there was a difference between the U.S. and Brazil. Her comment was that there was no comparison, each country had different ways, especially with food. Denise broke the monotony of the prairie living by visiting Chicago, St. Louis, Washington D.C., and New York City. Good bye, Denise and good luck!
