We appreciate the time and effort they have given to our class. There have been times when we didn’t think our float would be finished, we didn't think we'd make our goal for magazine sales, we didn't think we could ever put on a Junior-Senior prom, we didn't think our class 4 EVERYTHING play would be given; but through it all, Mr. Hutton and Mr. Morgan have pulled us through to make things the best for us. Welding PROM—STAIRWAY There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold and she's buying a stairway to Heaven. And when she gets there she knows if the stores are all closed with a word she can get what she came for. There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure ’cause you know sometimes words have two meanings. In a tree by the brook there's a songbird who sings sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven. There's a feeling I get when I look to the west and my spirit is crying for leaving. In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees and the voices of those who stand looking. And it makes me wonder. Queen Ann Reedy and King Doug Murphy And its whispered that soon if we all call the tune then the piper will lead us to reason. And a new day wili dawn for those who stand long and the forests will echo with laughter. If there's a bustle in your hedgerow don't be alarmed now, its just a spring clean for the May Queen. Yes, there are two paths you cat go by but in the long run; there's still time to change the road you're on. Your head is humming and it won't stop, in case you don't know, the Piper's calling you to join him. Dear lady can you hear the wind blow and did you knov your stairway lies on the whispering wind. Prom court: King Doug and Queen Ann, John Woodard, Becky Eads, Carla Jackson, Dave Kinert TO HEAVEN And if you listen very hard the tune will come to you at last when all are one and one is all to be a rock and not to roll. 17 And she's buying the stairway to Heaven. God lit the fires in his eyes And bound swords on his feet, God fanned the furnace of his heart To everlasting heat. His two eyes take in all the sky, East, west, north, and south. Opposite as poles they burn; And death is in his mouth. Death because his Maker knew That death is last and best, Because he gives to those he loves The benison of rest.
