SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE This year's Mirror presents a theme of more than ordinary significance. As you review the many and varied events of the 1961-62 school year, you will have a great- er realization of the planning and efforts that were required to blend and balance the many voices, moods, and rhythms that were everpresent in the setting of this year's composition. As we compare the activities of the Junior High with those of our Senior High students, we observe a slower tempo but a strong desire to gain momentum as the steps on the first few rungs of the imaginary ladder are taken. Solo and group efforts are constantly madeas some degree of success is experienced by participants, spectators, and advisers; all working in harmony. Congratulations to the Senior Class for your determination to reach the top. Whether your high note in satisfaction while attending Lovington Junior-Senior High School was gained through individual achievements, group participation, or through service to others,I am sure that you will always have some fond memories of your high school accomplishments. 5 Superintendent
