TO THE STUDENTS: The 1956-57 school year has come to a close. Yet the activities and events of the year will live on in the lives of the pupils and the faculty. I hope the seniors will carry with them the principles of ethi- cal character, the desire for a useful career and a determination to succeed. The stature of a school is measured by the students who enter its halls, the quality of work they do while in school, and the success they attain in their careers after leaving the school. And so, to the class of 1957, I say farewell. I hope that you are taking away with you as much as you leave to us, and we know that you are leaving much behind as a contribution to the student body and the seniors of later years. My wish for you is that you cherish the memories of your high school years and may luck be with you when you enter your future careers. To the undergraduates, my hope is that you will do your utmost to uphold the high ideals that have been the guide for most of the students who have passed through the school and may your later years be well spent.
