Is there a stranger peering through my eyes? Is this person really me? I don't need all the answers But only the right questions To understand the problems And learn life's ageless lessons. Tell me not in riddles What you do not understand. Just admit your ignorance And gently take my hand. Lead me with uncertainty Guided by determination To a long-fought horizon My decisive destination. by Bridget Donahue public affairs ADMINISTRATION advise executive duties GfFaculty business supervise ADMINISTRATION management Dr. Charles Waple Mr. Ronald DeWitt Mr. Charles Schmidt Superintendent, Loveland City Principal, Loveland Hurst High Assistant Principal, Loveland Hurst Schools School High School Board of Education Seated: Dr. Waple, Mr, Vinson, Mr. Ramsey, Mrs. Elliot. It was a year in which one could see many changes and many faces. Although the Tigers had a somewhat Off season, there were many close games with many enthusiastic, cheering Loveland fans. The team's 7-14 re cord was not the best, but the im- provement, evident in their victo- ries toward the end of the season, promises an exciting season next year. Blessed with an abundance of fine distance-runners and sprinters, the Tigers proved that they can claw opponents at times. James Swierc proved to be a true all-city performer by constantly winning merits ahd ribbons and raking in points by the dozens. The mile and two mile relay teams also showed a knack for winning. In the field events, the Tigers mixed finesse, strength, and pure athletic prowess to top opponents in such events as the high jump, discus, and shot put.
