LQHHRNJ LOVEUIND HIIIIST 6 SCHOOL LOVELaND. OHIO ASIAO I982 Introductionn Ztlntroduction l 7 g .. - n .EQQMFW . L'fe . a . , . . . The I fdlviding the year up Into seasons In an Idea as logical as It IS difficult to pin down the originator. The well known, pleasing sounding names take on more meaning than just means of identifying certain periods of the year. They take in the very essence of life, death and renewal of love. These opposites can be interpreted into abstract everyday life. For who knows the changing of the seaons better than the high school student. Each fall students grudgingly report to school in preparation for a grand rebirth the following spring. Fall is a time of melancholy and preparation for future happenings. Seeds take to the wind and bury themselves in the earth in reply to Mother Nature's stern warning of coming hardship. Students plunge into their new lives and responsibilities anticipating a greater becoming bound to arrive. Winter is dormancy. The beginnings of new things remain inactive in answer to the on-slaught and cruelty of winter. It is time for the strong to bolster themselves and make the coming generation steeled to life and its rigors Students realize just how time can move as slowly or as quickly as one will allow. It is a time for strength, a time of survival to ensure the race will endure. It is a time to concede victory to the elements and to achieve finer things and conquer obstacles. Spring explodes on senses dulled by months of Iifelessness as a sunrise viewed from a misty mountain top. It is a fine time of rebirth, awakening of renewal. Students have endured and are ready for the grand realization of success. One wishes this would encompass all and we could become enveloped, intoxicated with beauty. knowledge and love. Life has burst onto our scene with enthusiasm pent up from months of oblivion. It is a time for graduation. the moving on to allow for the young and the new. Springs slides suavely into summer, a time for maturing. We have put another year of happiness, pain, love, new realizations and maturity behind us. It is a time to incorporate what we have learned into our lifestyle. and make use of new skills and abilities. It is a time of plenty, of abundance and satisfaction. It is time to own up to the ever-clicking of time as recedes into nothing. It is a time of preparing for the inevitable as the cycle repeats itself. Lite must and will go on. by Richard Mesaros lntrodubtion B MFaculty y M U C F FacultWS if V'Mrgiciaaflgs Schmidt ' E E I: :L W E.Mr Robert Wagner , : AssistantPrincipa!
