CLASS OF 1972 I only dislike one thing this year. That is graduation. I'll be straight with you. I don't want to leave this. You think these are the ramblings of an immature kid and you may be right, But, I am kind of proud that I didn't grow up too fast. I en- joyed these things while they lasted. Now it's time to face up to life. lhope I'm ready. by Chip Allen MR. The night before, the Loveland Tigers had assured a fine dance, for they beat the Deer Park Wildcats 42-0. The room for the dance was decorated in the signs of the zodiEC. The banc'i was good, but who hears the band? The Homecoming Queen, Toni Leake, had been crowned the night before during the half-time at the game. During the dance the King, Mike Gentry, was crowned. The candidates were Mike Grischy, Pam Byrd, Tom Kinner, Pam Girty, Chip Allen, Shelley Lueders, Bob Davis, and Donna Krebs. SWEETHEARTS' BALL The next dance of the year was the Sweethearts' Ball. For the dance each class named a pair of its members to represent its class for the sweet- hearts of the dance. The seniors chose Pam Girty and Larry White; the juniors chose Terri DeRone and Darrell Ramsey; the sophomores, Tasha Ball and Don Huber; the freshmen, Mary Jennings and Ron Amos. The dance was fun and Valentinish, and there were plent of refreshments. At the high point of the evening everyone crowded around the candidates, and the announcer said, The 1971-72 Sweethearts are Terri DeRonde and Darrell Ramsey! SENIOR ASSEMBLY The week 311 seniors wait for: Senior Week! The first day started off with Farmer Day! . Everyone wore bib overalls, plaid shirts, jeans and the like.
