The seventy-fifth anniversary of any occasion is always a great and presents this annual to you, the alumni and underclassmen. Much hard Work must go into the laying out of an annualemore than many people realize. Without the cooperation of all concerned, and the guidance of our co- editors, Freda Adams and Linda Ratliff, and assistant editors, Jane Bauer, Barbara Anderson, and Carol Koehler, this annual would not have been possible. We would like to give a big, special thanks to our advisor, Mrs. Kelly, for the long hours of hard work she has put into this annual. It is their knowledge, guidance and patience that has encouraged the great sports teams, enthusiasm, and all-round school spirit of which we are so proud. We greatly appreciate the hard Work and long hours our sports depart- ment has given toward the betterment of the school. Sincerely, The Class of 1960 Administration Our Administrators Being superintendent of Loveland Schools is certainly no easy task, but Mr. Hurst carries out this position with complete confidence and capability. As the principal of Loveland High School, Mr. 0gg9s first thoughts are always for the good of the school and the pupils. Under his capable guidance the high school operates smoothly and efficiently. Friend and administrator. These words certainly apply to Mr. Mason. Principal of Loveland Miami School, he not only is an administrator to the pupils, but a . friend as well. Aiding Mr. Mason is Mr. Hogan. Carry- ing out his role as assistant principal, he is respected and admired by all. The responsibilities of the school board are many and varied. Here, the vice president, Mr. Robert Poe, discusses educational programs with Mrs. LaForge, Mr. Leming, Mrs. Cornett, Mr. Malott, and Mr. Gentry. School. Board t Tending to the secretarial duties of the school board, the school, and aiding the t other secretaries, is hard working, ef- ficient Mrs. Martha LaForge. Our Teachers Meetings, conventions, debates, and seminars. Anything that has to do with a good high school counselor, has to do with our Miss Templin. Although this is only his first year teaching in the high school, Mr. Bran- nan has made many, many friends with his easy going manner. Need help with a term paper? Want to find hard to get information? Weive got the best 1i- brarian in these parts! Meet Mrs. Gentry. Orchids to her for a Science always seems to be fun for Miss Poser, Mr. Lewis, and Mr. Ramsey. No wonder those biology, chem- istry, and general science classes were so popular. Grammar, literature, and just being able to use correct English were always the topics stressed by the English depart- ment. Mr. Picciano and Miss Langdoc enjoy time out from grading papers. Music was everywhere when Mr. and Mrs. Coosman were around. Thanks for the loyely memories left by the various singing and playing groups they directed. Social studies was the topic discussed by Mrs. Neu- mann and Mrs. Kelly. fWonder what election they are planning nowH Delicious aromas, wonderful drinks, and tantalizing cookies seemed to pop from nowhere when Miss Tanner was in charge of the cooking. Miss Kenney held sway with the thread and needle. There were many happy girls when they viewed their finished products at the end of the year. H Secretaries In spite of their many duties and problems the secretaries enjoyed their work. Mrs. Hill was well liked and admired by all for her work in the high school. Mrs. Elliott and Mrs. Archer took very good care of the secretarial duties in the el- ementary building. Nurse Mrs. Hartmafs kind ways endeared her with all she came to know. Her tender care of the little ones was known by all. No problems were too large for her. She will always be remembered. Custodian x 7 Mrs. Corrill was a friend to all in time of need. Her quiet ways. endeared her to everyone. Bus Drivers Bus drivers are important people in seeing that the students arrived at school safely. Kneeling We find Mr. Taylor, MI. Seward, and Mr. Potts. Standing are Mrs. LaForge, Mrs, Novakov, Mr. Wiggins, and Mr. Hill. Cooks These are the cooks who kept the students fed. Here Mrs. Size- more, Mrs. Huff, Mrs. Biggs, Mrs. Bridges, Mrs. Corrill, Mrsh Frisby, and Mrs. Frisby, the head cook, pose for the photogra- pher. Time out for coffee. These are the ones who take care of the new elementary building. Here are Sid Wiggins, Bob Bryant, Jerry Martin, Red Aylward, and Sam Bolden. Custodians Mr. Seward, guardian of the nails and hammers, must have been impressed by Miss Payne,s fil- ing class. He can find anything at a momentes notice. Happy times must have been had when Buddy Solzsman and Mr. Cummins cleaned the high school building. Enter, the Students O R .BOOKS OF KNOWLEDGE g Enter the students, the day has begun. Spring fever may have come but students found many an enjoyable moment walking up the walk to school: MI. Picciano and the girls seemed to have an interesting item on the bulletin board. Bob Glass, Sandy McCoy, and Karen Nisbet admire the certificates won by the students in the scholarship contests. I6 We meet, we help, and we enioy noontime fun. W5 just that 016 Kentucky charm! Gee, Miss Poser, only yesterday it looked so healthy. Maybe it ate someone who didnat agree with it. A wide choice of courses kept us mentally fit; Quentin certainly is concentrating on that drawing board. Maybe these boys will have a con- struction company of their own some day. BILL : JOHNS XVESTERN AUTO DEERWESTEIPS DRIVE IN Loveland, Ohio Loveland, Ohio 7, Hollywood Holiday ; Loveland,s annual variety show, HoIlywood Holiday, was a great succesa contributed to the junior and senior classes. This year, the show was written by the students, and directed by Mrs. Kelly. With everyone working together and contri- buting to the betterment of the show, Hollywood Holiday was truly one of the best variety shows in the history of Loveland High School. Bill Smith made a very distinguished looking train depot. Mike Mertes was well cast as the part of the weightlifter. Enter, the hero! Linda Kay added beauty and melody to the show. All aboard for Hollywood! WARNER FORD, INC. WEYAND BROTHERS Loveland, Ohio Branch Hill, Ohio Our ttah 50h boy, Tim Fleckinger, had the easiest lines in the entire show. Bet he was qlad of that because it took him weeks to learn. Serious minded Bill Klesch put all he had into the show. Maybe the name, Cecil 3., had something to do with it. Bevy Ogg created a California atmosphere for the audience with the backdrop planned with Miss Langdoc: art super- visor 0f the show. teen 3. mam DIRECTOR Whoops, missed again! KEEGAN,S PHARMA Y 9450 Montgomery Rd. Montgomery, Ohio From the hillbillies to the parade of NecPs horse,5, every- one thoroughly enjoyed each part of the variety show. Elm Street Loveland, Ohio 71 Under the direction of Mrs. Kelly and aided by Mr. and Mrs. Coosman and Mr. Trauger, the show proved to be one of the best ever. Perhaps Sid Wiggins, Boots Sewards, and Buddy Solz- man saw something interest- ing on the other sidie of the stage, but they always kept the spotlight in the correct position. The props added quite a bit to the show. Without the aid of Miss Langdoc and the willingness of Judy Dunn and Larry Norris those props might not have been made. V You had to have a good look- ing cast to complete the show. Mrs. Gentry and Miss Templin made Sure the make- up was just right. Sandy prepares to help with the crowning. She7s pleased with the work she did. Many happy groups could be found. That fishermefs net proved to be interesting to Sandy McCoy, Donna Long, Bill KIesch, Sandy McCoy and Ken Hockman. What a happy group! Bette Scull looks worried about the steps as she receives her flower during the presentation of flowers to the seniors. My, my, what happened!
