Class Prophecy In the town of OBOPSHEBAM Forty-seven seniors and one cool lamb Slowly slink down the halls With memories of when high school began. We roll into town to stop at Heartbreak Hotel, Where Jack Prather's singing is still swell; At the club, beside the bandstand We see the iitterbuggers, Johnny, Nancy, Kenny and Jan. Bob Peacock, the owner of this cool, classy dive Presents Rucly and his Rock n' Roll Five; Judy's wedding bells are breaking up that old gang of ours While Bettylou Wilson is receiving her many showers. We motor on down to Shady Lane, Where we see our own cool friend, Mary Jane; Now here comes Barbara, that real classy dame, I hear she iust played in the All-Star game. Jock, Jerry, and Curg the tops of them all Are really gone at this game of Football; With Bill Beal, the most sensational coach of them all, Watches them groan as they tumble and tall . Henry and Clifton down in their lab, Are Forever mixing up some little dab; With Laura as assistant, how can they miss? When they goof off, she t'latens them with her fist. Betty Jo is still playing it cool, So far she hasn't fallen for a fast talking Fool; But Shirley Hollon, who hasn't been so lucky, Flew off for a honeymoon down in Kentucky. Bettie, Janet and Hody in high society, Have been reading about Zello in Variety; There we'll read about Eddie, Larry and Roger, They've iust signed up to play with the Dodgers. Janice Langford, waiting for a hep little letter, Brought by Paul Fritz, hoping to make things better; Dorothy Holtke is now in New York modeling, New breezy styles from teen-age to toddling. Ann is still trying with her pantomime singing, Knocking them dead with the crowds she is bringing; Dave Whalen with his harmonica playing, Starts the crowd swinging and swaying. Wayne and Ronnie are standing by the way, Laughing and talking all through the day; Remembering all the tun-packed years gone by, They whistle at girls, but they get no reply. Kurt in his new Jaguar V-8' Is the number one bachelor for any date; While Diana is looking for her lifetime mate, The only qualification she has is that he be a grad'uate. Down the street comes short, short, Sally She's supposed to meet Nancy at the OBOPSHEBAM ralley. I Margir, the cat whose still Iivin' it up Has won 3 blue ribbons and one golden cup. Shirley and Betty that vaudeville team, Has got the audience on the beam. Jeanie Tucker was caught on the spot Is no good for she iust got caught. Don, now the iudge whose holding this trial, Just gave Ginny a ticket with a great big smile. Tolida is setting Sonya's hair While telling Dorothy of the real 'gone love affair.- At last we Finished; reunion was great, We met with these kids who really rate, If we don't ever meet them again, we'll sigh And remember the happy carefree days gone by. 21
